HERE OUR VOICES
Our Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Movement
About Us
We are Here, Our Voices.
Here, Our Voices is a consent-first documentation and storytelling movement uplifting Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Men, Girls, Boys, and Two Spirit relatives. Founded by Nicole Merton, we create powerful photo, voice, and video story pieces that honor loved ones, protect families’ privacy, and move communities to action. This is not content. These are lives. Support helps fund travel, recording, and ethical storytelling so voices are seen, heard, and protected.

OUR IMPACT
Come join us
This movement was never meant to be carried by families alone. If you feel called to stand with Indigenous communities, there is a place for you here.
Join Here, Our Voices as an ally, supporter, or community partner. Help us expand safe, consent-first storytelling that honors loved ones, protects privacy, and keeps the MMIW/MMIP crisis visible until real accountability and change happen. Whether you can donate, share resources, connect us with a chapter or group, volunteer your skills, or simply commit to amplifying stories responsibly, your presence matters.
If you are a family member, survivor, or advocate and you want to share a story, we will meet you with compassion, confidentiality, and respect. You choose what is shared, what stays private, and how you want to be reached.
Together, we bring more voices into the circle and build a stronger network of awareness, advocacy, and action.
